In January 2000, an institution named IISPAK started serving the students aiming to develop careers
in the fields of Information Technology, through world's leading professional examinations in Information Systems "BCS Professional
Examinations".
Since Jan-2000, IISPAK got intake of TWO (2) batches of overall 150 students.
To date over 40 students have finally passed out from CCE (IISPAK), ideally placed and employed in the
corporate sector.
In February 2003, the Governing Body finally decided to restructure the institution and
re-shape it in lines with the requirements and standards of the UK Engineering Council.
In June 2003, after completing all basic formalities and finalising an Advisory Board for Engineering
Qualifications, The Board applied to the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan for the availability of the name:
"College of Chartered Engineering (Pvt) Limited"
On July 26th, the College of Chartered Enginnering was first lauched at the Apptitude Test of NED
University, Karachi and to the general public on 27th July 2003, in Daily Dawn News Paper.
